Not medical advice
Health Simple is for general wellness and self-reflection only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for a doctor, therapist, or qualified healthcare professional. Do not use Health Simple for emergencies or crisis support; contact local emergency services or a crisis line.
The app is free
Health Simple is provided free of charge. We may change features over time, and we may add optional paid features in the future. If we do, we will make any cost clear before you choose it.
Provided "as is"
Health Simple is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including (but not limited to) fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do our best to make the app helpful and reliable, but we cannot guarantee it will always be error-free or available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for how you use Health Simple and for any decisions you make based on it. The app is a tool for gentle self-reflection. It is your judgement, and the guidance of qualified professionals where appropriate, that should inform real decisions about your health and wellbeing. You agree to use the app only for lawful, personal purposes.
No emergency use
Health Simple is not an emergency or crisis service. It cannot detect or respond to emergencies, and it does not contact anyone on your behalf. If you are in crisis or experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line immediately.
Privacy
Your privacy matters. Our Privacy Policy explains what data the app handles. In short, your check-ins are backed up to your own private account and stored securely with Google Firebase so you can recover them on a new device, we collect a few non-sensitive, pseudonymous usage signals and, if you sign in with Apple, the email Apple shares, and we never sell your data or use it for ads. By using the app, you also agree to that policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, let you know within the app. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
