How do I do a check-in?
Open the app and answer the question on the Today screen. Tap Yes or Skip, or use a voice check-in to just say your day. You can also respond right from a reminder on your Lock Screen.
Is my data private?
Your check-ins are backed up to your own private account and stored securely with Google Firebase, so you can recover them if you lose or switch devices. We use that data for backup and to improve the app, and we also collect a few pseudonymous usage signals. If you sign in with Apple, we receive the email Apple shares (used for product updates). We never sell your data or use it for ads, and deleting your account removes your backed-up check-ins. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
How do I opt out of analytics or unsubscribe from emails?
You can disable usage analytics in the app (Profile → Privacy). To unsubscribe from product-update emails, or to request deletion, email privacy@healthsimpleapp.com. We handle these manually for now and will action them promptly.
Do I need an account?
No, the app works fully without an account. Sign in with Apple is optional, but it is what backs up your check-ins so you can recover them on a new device. If you sign in, we may receive the name and email Apple shares (including private relay).
The voice check-in or AI questions aren't working.
The AI features need a compatible iPhone. If they're unavailable on your device, Health Simple uses built-in prompts so the app keeps working. For voice check-ins, make sure you've allowed Microphone and Speech Recognition access in iOS Settings.
What if I miss a few days?
Nothing breaks. There's no guilt and no lost-streak pressure. Just open the app when you're ready and pick back up.
How do I delete my data?
In the app, go to Profile → Delete this profile to permanently remove your check-ins and history. This also removes your backed-up check-ins from our storage, along with the pseudonymous usage signals and any email-list entry for your account. You can also email privacy@healthsimpleapp.com for help.
